A neat drive-thru Christmas and holiday lights experience in Arcadia in the SGV at the Santa Anita Mall.
What is it?

Grab your sled and join World of Illumination on a trek down Reindeer Road. Whiz through mountainous terrain, traverse glacial peaks, explore the northern ice caves and make your way through the northern forests to the heart of it all – Santa’s Workshop – the world’s largest animated toy shop. Be dazzled by reindeer, snowmen and toys galore as you witness the most spectacular drive-through light forest this side of the arctic. Who knows, you may even catch Santa and his elves making your present this year…if you’ve been nice!
World of Illumination
Essentially, Reindeer Road is the name of the overall experience encompassed by Christmas and holiday lights and a bunch of interesting exhibits for you to literally drive your car through. You’ll be open to open your windows and take pictures as you slowly roll through.
It’s a nice safe activity to enjoy with your family, kids, loved ones, or even by yourself to take in the sights and sounds.
When is it?
It’s going on until January 2, 2022 so you have some time to check it out.

Pop in Santa Anita Park into Apple or Google Maps, and you’ll probably be okay. It’s right by the Santa Anita Westfield Mall, essentially, if you’re familiar with the area.
How much is it?
There are four tiers of tickets:
- Weekday Vehicle Pass – General Admission Monday – Thursday, excluding holidays. Valid for one use. $59
- Weekday Vehicle Pass – Dasher Pass Dash into the show with shorter wait times, Mon-Thurs, excluding holidays. Valid for one-time use. $79
- Weekend Vehicle Pass – General Admission: Friday – Sunday & Holidays. Valid for one-time use. $69
- Weekend Vehicle Pass – Dasher Pass. Dash into the show with shorter wait times, Fri-Sun and holidays. Valid for one-time use. $89
What’s this about the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
Reindeer Road is donating a portion of its profits for all Wednesday ticket sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You can also donate to the foundation when you purchase your tickets. The goal is $100,000.
What hours does run for?
The show runs in timed intervals from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M.
When you buy your tickets, you’ll choose a specific time slot to enter the event.

Definitely. Kids will enjoy it, and it’s a nice audiovisual event for adults as well.
