There are also going to be special dance and music areas at the following locations within the park:

  • “Latin Beats” – Latin favorites near Jurassic World – The Ride
  • “Electric New Year” – Electronic Dance Music at Springfield, U.S.A.
  • “Rock the Night” – Pop/Rock/Hip-Hop tunes at Universal Plaza

When is it?

It’s on December 31th, 2021.

Essentially, you just buy a ticket to enter the park that day, and you get to enjoy all the usuals at Universal Studios: the rides, the food, the photo ops, and the attractions, but at nighttime there will be these special events for the New Year.

Basically, you can arrive then at any time that day. It’s probably nice to arrive in the daytime to get your money’s worth and check out Universal Studios before you enjoy the event and the fireworks at night.

Where is it?

The address is as follows:

Universal Studios Hollywood
100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

If you just pop in “Universal Studios” you’re probably going to be okay.

How much is it?

Very good question. 1-Day General Admission is $139. “EVE event included with valid theme park admission. Entertainment for EVE event begins at 9pm and ends at 2am. If you want express access, you can spring for the $319 Universal Express option. “Includes ONE-TIME express access to each ride, attraction, and seated show,” Universal Studios says.

For one more step up, you can go for the $359 Universal Express Unlimited option. “Includes UNLIMITED (per day) express access to each ride, attraction, and seated show,” Universal Studios says on its site.

Yes, that is what Universal Studios is ordinarily designed for, but keep in mind that some of the partying will have alcoholic beverages available to those over 21.
